Community Pool

‘Daily Post’ in WordPress has been having a community pool every Monday where bloggers come together to give each other feedback and advice.

This is done to help bloggers gain traffic and to help them grow. If you haven’t heard of it before here is the link to it. You can check it out and join their threads.

I thought of having a community pool myself so that I can give something to you guys to help your blog grow.

While you may not even need this, if you are a profound blogger, I believe it’ll help you in some way. Also, I’ll be selecting the reblog post I do on Tuesday from my community pool.

Here are the rules to this community pool so that it could be used to it’s maximum potential –

  • Drop a link on which you want to get feedback on. This could be a post, your website, anything you wish, but make sure it has a substantial message or question.
  • Be as specific as you can if you want to draw quality feedback.
  • Please make sure you only comment one link.  If you comment with more than one link, your comment would either not be approved or would take a longer time to be moderated. If you want to draw traffic to your website, make sure you comment with a link to your best article. 😉
  • No adult content. This is a strict no no. I’ll be checking each of the links when the comment is sent to me for moderation. Your link will definitely be deleted if it contains any adult content.
  • While you don’t have to, if you have the time please check out a few other links in the comment section and give your feedback to other bloggers who need help (specially if you’ve requested feedback too).
  • Please give polite and constructive feedback. The idea is to have fun and spread some love!

There’ll be a community pool every Friday at 6am (my time) in my blog. You can leave your links until the next community pool, after that the comment section of the previous week’s community pool will be closed.

If you aren’t a blogger, this post could help you too. You’ll have different types of recommended links to read through all in the same place. How convenient is that?

With Love.

Question Of The Week – Q13

You are on a plane which is about to crash. You have the privilege of one last phone call. Who will you call?

My answer to last week’s question –

Oceans. I love mountains too, but I guess the feeling of the tides on your feet is irreplaceable.

With Love.

PS – If you are new to my blog, every week I post a question for you guys to answer and I give my answer to the previous week’s question. You are more than invited to join in the fun. Cheers!

Let’s End World Hunger

Have you ever wanted to end world hunger?

Of course you have.

I’m pretty sure that at least once in our life, that thought has crossed each and every one of our minds.

There’s a teeny tiny problem though. If we have all thought about it, why hasn’t it happened yet? Well, let me tell you why. It’s because you (yes you) haven’t read this conveniently inspiring article yet. I’m going to share a secret with you. I’m going to tell you how I think you and I could make this work.

There’s one little thing you gotta do before you read further. Press on that play button (if you can’t see a play button, that’s probably because you are not reading this on a web browser) and watch that short video. It won’t take much of your time.

Wow eh? I wouldn’t have added that to this article unless it was incredibly inspiring. If you were like me, you probably ended up replaying that video making your siblings and parents watch it too. If you were even more like me, you live in an extremely hot weathered country where you can’t seem to even stop withering away yourself. So how on Earth will you be able to grow crops?

Remember reading ‘conveniently inspiring’? The inspiring part is just over with (at least 90% of it), and the convenient part? I’m going to summarize all the best crops to grow in both hot and cold climates, just for you. This makes it so easy you don’t even have to waste a second more of your time figuring out what to grow. All you need to do is, get up, get your face off the screen and do your part to end hunger.

Warm Season –

  • Breakfast crops –
  1. Corn
  2. Sweet potato
  3. Cucumber
  4. Tomato
  5. Southern peas
  • Lunch/Dinner crops –
  1. Beans
  2. Eggplant
  3. Pumpkin
  4. Okra/Ladies fingers
  5. Zucchini
  6. Tomatillo
  7. Gourds
  • Dessert crops –
  1. Melons
  2. Watermelons
  3. Cantaloupe
  4. Honeydew

Cold Season –

  • Breakfast crops –
  1. Carrot
  2. Beets
  3. Turnip
  4. Potatoes
  5. English peas
  • Lunch/Dinner crops –
  1. Broccoli
  2. Brussels sprouts
  3. Cabbage
  4. Leeks
  5. Radish
  6. Spinach
  7. Parsley
  8. Celery
  9. Cauliflower
  10. Lettuce

These crops don’t fall into a warm or cold season category.

  1. Artichoke
  2. Asparagus
  3. Chive
  4. Parsnip
  5. Garlic
  6. Onion

Why I divided them under the ‘breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert’ categories was to clearly show that these crops are certainly enough to feed a person three times a day. You can most definitely use the crops for whatever meal you want.

I will be starting my own garden very soon, in aim to feed people who have no choice but to go hungry. There will definitely be more posts regarding this. I truly can’t wait to get out there, do my part and share how I did it with you. Get started, I know you wanna join me too.

With Love.

Question Of The Week – Q12

Which do you like better, mountains or oceans?

My answer to last week’s question –

We all know it’s wrong, so why is that even a question?

I’m just assuming it’s because ‘justify’ could mean either ‘right’ or ‘reasonable’. Is revenge right? Nope, of course not. Is it reasonable? Depending on the situation, sometimes (I guess).

With Love.

PS – If you are new to my blog, every week I post a question for you guys to answer and I give my answer to the previous week’s question. You are more than invited to join in the fun. Cheers!
