Question Of The Week – Q2

Do you have any regrets in life? If so, what is your biggest regret (only if you don’t mind sharing)?

My answer to last week’s question

I found it very difficult to decide between two memories.

  • When I was around 10 to 12 years old, I used to go to my mum’s best friend’s house which had a large mango tree on the front yard. Me and the two kids in the picture (mum’s best friend’s kids) used to try build a tree-house on the mango tree almost everytime I went there. It wasn’t always a success but one day it came out really well. Sadly, they don’t live there anymore, so I don’t get to visit the house. πŸ™

  • The day my sister was born. I was the only child for 6 years, and it was such an exciting thing for me to have a baby sister. I remember waiting outside the hospital ward until the visiting hours came and I rushed to my mother’s side to say hello to my baby (yup, she was also my baby). 😊

      1. My home is MILAN (Italy) , but I happened to live a decade in Argentina…
Patagonia is situated in the southern part of that country and is surrounded by the Antarctic Ocean in a beautiful region , with penguins and icebergs at hand…..
But I never visited and I wonder why!

  1. I killed a snake accidentally. It was not very big, kind of baby snake. It looked so nice and beautiful.. It was trying to escape but i was blocking it’s way. I did not wanted to hurt or kill it. I just wanted to click some pictures and watch it for some tim bcoz that was the first time i was looking at a snake so closely. There was a brick and it hid under there. I lifted the brick and it came out suddenly. It happened so quick that i got terrified and dropped the brick. The brick fell on it’s head it died. But it not died easily.. It lay there lifeless, wriggling at times full of pain and i stood there watching it die. It died bcoz of me. That is the biggest regret of my life.. πŸ™‡

  3. Although this isn’t one of my biggest regrets. I regret not staying in a Christian school when I had to choose between staying in a Christian school or going to a public school; because I feel that everything since then has gone away from what I was doing prior to moving to a public school. I used to have friends and since then, its been hard to connect with other people.

  4. My biggest regret is/was allowing the fear of public humiliation [!!!] stop me from trying new things. Like, I never did learn how to do a cartwheel; I never quit my job to move to California for no reason at all except I wanted to be “discovered” and become famous (and I’m sure that it is just that easy!); I don’t wear bright colors; I am not the lead singer in a rock band (maybe I can sing … who knows? I never tried!!); I don’t wear hats. I’m never ostentatious.
But tomorrow I will wear shocking pink, agreed?

  5. My only regret would be not listening to my mom when she told me to manage my money better. I’ve lived a good life, and I try not to have regrets because I would not be the person I am now if I harbored any regrets. But, that would be my only regret.
