The Anti-Terrorism Ad Which Is Taking Over The World

As you may know, this is the Holy Month Of Ramadan for Muslims all over the world. It’s a time of spiritual reflection, improvement and increased devotion and worship.

Muslims are expected to put in more effort into following the teachings of Islam. Muslims fast, which is the fourth pillar of Islam, from dawn to sunset. During the fast, they refrain from consuming any food and drinks. This is to make them personally aware of the plight of underprivileged people, which evokes a degree of social consciousness. They also guard themselves from all evil, reflecting the essence of piety.

The Kuwaiti telecom company ‘Zain’ decided to make the most out of the holy season with a powerful three-minute ad urging people to reject suicide bombings.

I’m not going to go through what happens in the video (I watched it atleast three times). However, here’s something incase you missed it in the video.

They included actual victims of terror attacks. πŸ™

Also, here’s a sneak peak into the YouTube comment section incase you are wondering if the video is worth your data/WiFi. 😰

I hope you didn’t skip watching the video.

With Love. ❀️

  2. I don’t have time to watch right now as I am running a bit behind getting ready for work (I wonder if reading blogs has anything to do with that LOL) but I promise I will look at it when I have time. Thank you for sharing the video and the information about what Ramadan is about. Education and love are our best defenses against the bad stuff we see happening in the world. 😍

  4. Thanks for the link! I haven’t watched it yet, but I will this evening. A little bit of Friday night fare. Could you tell me the other 4 pillars of Islam? I always forget. Thanks for #4: fasting. My mind is like a sieve these days and the mesh grows larger as the years tick by.

    1. #1 – Shahadah Kalima. Basically the intention of a person to become a Muslim saying “I testify there’s none worthy of worship besides Allah, and Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”, in arabic.
#2 – Salah. Praying five times a day.
#3 – Zakah. Obligatory charity. It’s also known as purification of wealth.
#4 – Sawm. Fasting. We celebrate a festival called Eid-Ul-Fitr marking the end of fasting after fasting for 29/30 days.
#5 – Hajj. Pilgrimage to Mecca. Mandatory for all Muslims able to afford it. This happens after fasting. We celebrate a festival called Eid-Ul-Adha for it. πŸ˜‡

  6. Oops. I watched and enjoyed the video, and I posted it to my Facebook page. Unfortunately, when I clicked to play, a series of other videos popped up. None were yours. I’ll take down the post and give it another try.

  7. Thank you for sharing the beautiful video. As a Christian in America, it gives me hope but I’m afraid the extremists won’t heed its lessons. Perhaps the lovely music and message will be absorbed by children so the next generation can live in peace. People of all faiths and no faith can learn from this video.
